Position Summary: IT Innovation Solution Architect
We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Innovation Solution Architect to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing innovative, scalable solutions that leverage emerging technologies to drive digital transformation within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration and Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Solution Design and Development
- Design and develop innovative, scalable solutions leveraging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, or IoT.
- Define technical architecture ensuring alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and security standards.
Technology Evaluation and Selection
- Lead the evaluation and selection of technology platforms, tools, and frameworks for innovation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout solution implementation.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct research to assess the feasibility and impact of new technologies and solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends.
Collaboration and Mentorship
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors.
- Mentor and coach team members on best practices in solution architecture and emerging technologies.
Participation in Innovation Activities
- Participate in innovation workshops, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative activities.
Requirements:
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Professional Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect focused on designing and implementing innovative solutions.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud computing, microservices architecture, data analytics, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with solution architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to innovation projects.
- Knowledge in areas like machine learning, generative AI, augmented & virtual reality, Python, and cloud-native technology.
- Experience with data models and platforms such as Salesforce, SAP Gigya, Google Data Studio, Web CMS, and direct-to-consumer platforms like Shopify, Magento, and Salesforce e-commerce.
Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
Preferred Knowledge
- Familiarity with Blockchain and Quantum Computing.
