Key Responsibilities
As an Engineer I – Java Full Stack, your primary responsibilities will include:
Software Development
Design and Development:
- Contribute to the design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluation, modification, deployment, and documentation of software and systems that meet the needs of business and internal end-user applications.
- Work as an active member of an agile team, contributing to software builds through consistent development practices, including using tools, common components, and documentation.
Code Reviews and Testing
Code Reviews:
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Identify code defects and work on remediation to enhance software performance.
Automated Testing:
- Engage in automated testing to ensure software reliability and robustness.
- Debug basic software components and rectify issues to maintain optimal functionality.
Support and Monitoring
Environment Monitoring:
- Support and monitor software across various environments, including test, integration, and production.
- Ensure the software performs efficiently and meets user requirements.
Automation and Testing
Automation Techniques:
- Explore and implement new automation techniques to enhance the agility, speed, and quality of engineering initiatives.
Testing Conditions:
- Define test conditions based on provided requirements and specifications.
- Participate in reviews of your own work and handle tasks efficiently to ensure timely project completion.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
Experience:
- 4 to 6 years in software design and implementation using Java.
- 1+ years with Kotlin, React, Redux, Node.js.
- 3+ years with Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Core Java concepts, including Collections, multithreading, and Java 8 features.
- Hands-on experience in building REST APIs.
- Proficiency in working with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Good to Have
- Experience with UI Visualization libraries.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Understanding of web fundamentals and Document Object Model (DOM).
- Experience in writing adaptive and responsive UI applications.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and unit testing.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments and frameworks.
