Job Description
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions using a range of Azure services. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate these into technical requirements. Your role will involve a mix of hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management
- SSAS Tabular Model: Develop and manage SSAS Tabular Models to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- DAX Queries: Write and optimize DAX queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Performance Issues Resolution: Identify and resolve performance issues to ensure the smooth operation of data solutions.
- Database Tuning: Perform database tuning to enhance the performance of SQL Server databases.
- Data Replication Techniques: Implement data replication techniques to ensure data availability and consistency.
- Microsoft SQL Server: Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Data Warehousing
- Stored Procedures: Develop and optimize stored procedures to handle complex data operations.
- Functions: Create and manage database functions for reusable logic.
- Triggers: Implement triggers to automate database tasks and ensure data integrity.
- Views: Design and maintain database views for simplified data access.
- Creating Facts and Dimensions: Develop and manage data warehousing structures, including facts and dimensions, to support business analytics.
Azure Services
- Azure SQL Database: Manage Azure SQL databases, ensuring high performance and availability.
- Azure Data Factory (ADF): Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
