Work You’ll Do
We are currently seeking an Application Support and Survey Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for providing technical support for various applications while also playing a pivotal role in the support and maintenance. This position requires a unique blend of technical proficiency and survey management expertise to ensure smooth operations and data collection.
Responsibilities
Application Support
- Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users, addressing application-related issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose software problems, log and track support requests, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work with IT and development teams to resolve technical issues, implement updates, and perform system upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for application support processes, troubleshooting procedures, and issue resolutions.
- Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify and address potential problems, and implement preventive measures.
- User Training: Assist in user training and education on application functionality and best practices.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance of new software releases, patches, and updates.
Survey
- Survey Creation and Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather survey requirements, ensuring surveys meet specific research goals.
- Survey Logic: Implement survey logic, branching, and advanced features.
- Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity and accuracy in collected survey responses.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to survey design, development, and best practices.
- User Support: Train and support end-users in survey creation and administration within the Qualtrics platform.
Technical Competences
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following technical skills and qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Web Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to customize survey interfaces and implement advanced features.
- Database Management: Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.
- Application Management Experience: Proven experience in application management or related IT roles.
- Deployment and Maintenance: In-depth knowledge of application deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Programming Languages: Familiarity with various programming languages, databases, and application frameworks.
- Data Analysis: Familiarity with data analysis concepts, APIs, and SQL tools is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
