Responsibilities

- Improve Product and Engineering Health: Leverage existing automation tools or scripts to enhance the overall health of our products and engineering processes. This involves using automated testing frameworks to identify and address potential issues early in the development cycle, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Develop and Execute Test Plans
- Create Test Plans: Develop comprehensive test plans based on the product test strategy. These plans should cover all aspects of the product, including functionality, performance, security, and usability.
- Conduct Test Plan Reviews: Collaborate with peers to review test plans, ensuring that all potential issues are identified and addressed. This collaborative approach helps to ensure that our testing processes are thorough and effective.
Define Test Frameworks
- Establish Test Frameworks: Define the test frameworks, test preconditions, and other test control and reporting functions needed to enable others to test functionality effectively. This includes setting up automated testing environments and creating test scripts that can be reused by other team members.
