In this role, you will design, build, operate, and optimize IT infrastructure and platforms, including Microsoft Windows Server, shared storage, cloud services, virtualization, and Windows-based applications.

Major Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Resolution
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Address hardware and software issues within virtualization, shared storage, Windows Server operating systems, and Windows-based applications.
System Management
- Active Directory and DNS: Manage underlying technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
- Virtualization and Storage: Handle Storage Area Network components, VMware ESXi/vCenter/vSAN.
- Cloud Services: Administer Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
Security and Compliance
- Policy Implementation: Establish and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure system security.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to established policies, standards, and licensing agreements.
Collaboration and Deployment
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability.
- Deployment: Participate in the design, review, and implementation of new platform, system, and application deployments.
Documentation and Training
- Documentation: Develop and maintain training materials and system documentation.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- Microsoft Windows Server: Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, decentralized storage, and VMware technologies.
- Microsoft Server Technologies: Expertise in Active Directory, Internet Information Services (IIS), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server Core.
- Additional Technologies: Experience with SQL Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
Scripting and Networking
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Batch.
- Networking: Strong familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP networking, and information security principles.
Communication Skills
- Written and Oral Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
ITIL/ITSM and Monitoring Tools
- ITIL/ITSM Processes: Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes.
- ServiceNow and SolarWinds Orion: Experience with ServiceNow and SolarWinds Orion monitoring platform.
Cloud and Standards
- Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 cloud solutions in a Hybrid configuration.
- Industry Standards: Experience with standards such as ISO9001, ISO27001, PCI, and CIS Controls.
Education/Experience Requirements:
