Job Requirements
Experience and Skills
- Experience: 3+ years in coding and solving large-scale problems (FinTech experience preferred).
- Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills; ability to convert large, vague problems into actionable tasks.
- Web Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and mobile-first web development.
- Web Frameworks: In-depth knowledge of at least one modern web framework and its overall design approach.
- Product Ownership: Expected to manage multiple web products across teams or within a larger team, defining and driving their success.
- Usability Principles: Strong understanding of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architecture.
- Web Performance Optimization: Passionate about web performance optimization, applying it to all web products owned.
- Browser Tuning: Expertise in browser tuning and optimization techniques/tools.
- Large-Scale Web Architecture: Experience in multi-tier, large-scale web architecture.
