Role Overview
The Account Executive is a pivotal role at Salesforce, responsible for creating, identifying, and closing sales for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud within a specified geographical region or set of named accounts.
This individual represents the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, driving revenue and growth. We are looking for a self-starting closer who can generate a substantial pipeline of business within a short period.
This role is essential for the development and success of our business in India, offering not only an immediate major role but also the chance to grow and build the operation further.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue
- Create and drive revenue within Indian accounts, ensuring alignment with Salesforce’s strategic goals.
- Generate business opportunities through professional networking, cold-calling, and leveraging existing contacts.
Brand Awareness and Lead Generation
- Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation by engaging in networking events, participating in associations, and other promotional activities.
- Generate leads from trade shows, industry events, and regional networking opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline.
Sales Cycle Management
- Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, managing each step meticulously to ensure successful deal closure.
- Develop and implement a strategic territory business plan to systematically grow the market presence and customer base.
Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention by maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal Salesforce Automation (SFA) system to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements
Experience and Skills
- Proven Sales Hunter and Closer: Demonstrated ability to hunt for new business and close deals effectively.
- 7-9 Years of Software Sales Experience: Preferably in SaaS, with a strong preference for Digital Marketing sales experience.
- Proven Track Record of Sales Excellence: Consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive Experience Selling to Enterprise Customers: Capable of managing and closing large deals.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Adaptable to fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
- Superior Professional Presence and Business Acumen: Strong interpersonal skills and a keen sense of business strategy.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree or Equivalent Relevant Experience: Experience will be evaluated based on core proficiencies for the role, including extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, and previous work experience.
