Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Data Solutions & Analytics department. The successful candidate will lead and execute AI/ML projects from inception to production, ensuring these projects are effectively integrated into the production pipeline.
This role demands a proactive individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, work closely with other ML Engineers, and ensure a clear understanding of requirements and the translation of these requirements into optimized high-impact solutions.
Additionally, the AI/ML Engineer will handle ad hoc time-bound Proof of Concepts (POCs), requiring quick turnaround times and innovative thinking.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Execution
- Project Leadership: Lead AI/ML projects from the initial concept through to deployment and production.
- Project Management: Ensure all project stages, including data collection, preprocessing, model development, testing, and deployment, are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project stakeholders to define requirements, set project timelines, and deliver high-quality results.
Model Development and Deployment

- Application Areas: Applications may include predictive safety, content personalization, search optimization, virtual assistants, and time series forecasting.

Performance Evaluation
- Metrics Development: Develop and implement metrics for evaluating model performance both offline and online.
- A/B Testing: Configure and conduct A/B testing to assess model impact in real-world scenarios.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present performance results and insights to a diverse group of stakeholders, ensuring clarity and comprehension across technical and non-technical audiences.
Data Analysis and Insight Generation
- Data Analysis: Analyze large volumes of dynamic structured and unstructured data.
- Big Data Technologies: Utilize modern big data and streaming technologies to extract meaningful insights.
- Scalability: Ensure that data analysis processes are scalable and efficient, facilitating the handling of large datasets.
Code Development and Best Practices
- Code Quality: Write reusable, well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Programming Languages: Primarily use Python, but also be proficient in other programming languages such as Scala or Java when necessary.
- Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews and participate in collaborative coding sessions with cross-functional teams.
Collaboration and Teamwork
