Description
Virtusa is looking for a proficient .Net Azure Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure Cloud Application Development, modernization, implementation, deployment, and support of highly distributed applications leveraging .NET, C#, and client technologies like JQuery, Angular/React.

Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Application Development
- Develop, modernize, implement, deploy, and support highly distributed applications.
- Utilize .NET, C#, and client technologies like JQuery, Angular, and React.
Azure API Development
- Develop and integrate Azure APIs.
- Familiarity with RESTful Microservices methodologies for integrating these into Azure cloud-based development.
Web API and Azure Functions
- Strong experience in Web API.
- Experience in Azure functions, service bus, and Cosmos DB.
Front-End Development
- Develop applications using modern front-end technologies such as AngularJS, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3.
Technical Leadership
- Lead technical architecture and application design discussions with clients to drive cloud deployment.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
Agile Development
- Knowledge and experience with AGILE development, SCRUM, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
Project Management
- Oversight experience on transformation projects.
- Successful transitions to implementation support teams.
- Expertise in modernizing traditional N-Tier applications to Azure and modernizing application code in Azure.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture patterns including containers, functional computing, and batch processing.
Project Delivery
- Strong project delivery experience regarding estimates, planning, and deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and articulate technologies to business stakeholders.
- Developing current and future state assessments/designs that address business requirements and best practices.
Development Processes
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (VSTS) Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) is a plus.
- Experience in conducting code reviews and defining best practices for teams to produce good code.
Communication
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must.
